When Semper & Adhuc meets LIP

Posted on04/21/2021

Remember: at the end of September, Semper & Adhuc moved to Labouheyre, a charming town of about 3000 inhabitants, where I have been working ever since with Clément, my apprentice.

The rhythm of orders has remained steady, and our watches have been sent all over the world (from France to the United States via Japan, Singapore, South Korea, the Netherlands, Italy, Belgium, Germany and Qatar) to meet you and new wearers, collectors and neophytes who have decided to put their trust in us, to our greatest joy.

This success of esteem is very promising and opens to Semper & Adhuc beautiful perspectives of development.

For 10 years now, I have been hunting for old movements, among which the LIP R100,real marvels of miniature mechanics. For those who don’t know, it’s simple: those calibers were born in the LIP factory in Palente, Besançon, the true cradle of French watchmaking, and contributed to the brand’s fame between 1958 and 1971.

Can you imagine the opportunity to restore them? To make them the heart of the next Semper & Adhuc watches while getting a little closer to our objective of 100% French manufacturing… The idea of a collaboration with LIP was just born. So I decided to contact them.

After a year of regular exchanges between Labouheyre and Besançon, we are proud to present you L’Instantanée, signed S&A x LIP! A singular watch, carrying both a resolutely French double-DNA, and a very beautiful story emerging between a historical company and our young workshop.

And precisely, as it is singular, this timepiece will be edited in 20 copies only. So, to find out more and maybe pre-order yours from Tuesday, May 04 at 8:00 pm Paris time, please visit the Semper & Adhuc website !

The Semper & Adhuc workshop thanks you for your trust and your unwavering support since the beginning. We hope to see you soon!
